The KERRANG contents page includes an advert, a competition and an edit from the editor, James.

There is a strap line on top of the contents with the brand logo to promote brand identity and the issue number.

The page has a yellow typography as sub headings, and smaller fonts for each article next to the page number in black and red.

There is evidence of house style as the sub heading for the main article 'There Goes My Heroes' (aka 'The Heroes Issue') is boxed in a blue background with yellow font. The subheadings typography is in the style of a super hero font and is the same font used as the articles title. This is also accompanied by a little graphical image of a super hero, attracting the audiences' attention to the main article.

There is one column of contents, which takes up roughly 1/3 of the page space. Other areas is taken up by a competition box taking up half of the page area.

There is two photos present on the page excluding the advertisement. This includes the competition photo and the photo of the KERRANG editor.

The page furniture includes black dividers behind the headings to separate the contents page up.
