House Style and Double Page Spread
The double page spread, the main article of the magazine is titled 'There goes my hero' reveals well renowned artists in the music industry, revealing their hero and inspiration. This is done stating their name, then the name of their hero, a short statement explaining why they are inspired, and their favourite published music. A picture of the artist and their hero is included within the box which KERRANG frequently include as on most pages there are images of renowned rockstars. In other reference to house style, KERRANG enjoy including short statement and interviews throughout there magazine like in such articles such as the K Quiz!
Compared to the contents page and the front cover this double page spread's (or triple page spread's) colour scheme has no correlation with the other pages as each page on KERRANG is unique.
The colour scheme on 'There goes my hero' consists of blue
and yellow; where as the contents page is mostly white with red
and black boxes. KERRANG maintains an informal writing
scheme throughout the magazine as it feels like it attempts to
talk directly at the audience. For example "rock's biggest stars
share their heroes with us, which include fellow musicians,
friends, parents, and, um, a bloke from Hell with needles in his
face". There is evidence that KERRANG is written with comedy
and therefore reinforces the idea that KERRANG is informal.
There is elements of a super hero theme which can be seen as
the house style as it is also included on the contents page.
Design elements include cartoon stars and a super hero
posing in flight to further reinforce the style on top of the font
and colour.

The page is separated into eight different posts which are separated by boxes contributing to the page furniture. These boxes contain two pictures each of the hero and the rockstar totaling in 16 photos.
The stand first of the double page spread is wrote in an engaging manner by using punctuation such as exclamation marks and ellipses'.
It is also wrote out in an informal manner including fillers such as "erm".
