  • The magazine features feedback and contact through social media and emails with the readers. A double page article on my chemical romance’s new lost album is a big contributor to the KERRANG issue 1433. In this article, KERRANG include quotations from their interview with the band. A quiz with Brent Smith which was carried out in the form of an interview was also included as a feature of the magazine. The different types of articles and features consist of interaction features through social media and mail between readers and KERRANG, articles based on news in the music industry, and fun features such as quizzing rock artists.

  • KERRANG is covered with shapes and boxes with vibrant yellow and reds making the magazine an informal, interesting read. Little of the space in the magazine is filled by text, but rather images, and art which contributes towards KERRANGS style. For example on the K! Quiz, the background of the box is seemed to be a creased piece of paper, which contributes towards KERRANG's style and pop-arty appearance. Due to the lack of text, and increased amount of visuals, it is a fair judgement to say that the majority of KERRANG's readers are only looking for a lighthearted read to keep up to date with the all new rock news.
